Swales Moor and other news today

3 Fieldfare, 2 Meadow Pipits and a single flyover Reed Bunting were just about the best I could do up there late afternoon.

3 adult Whooper Swans  at Ringtone Edge reservoir earlier today (AT)

Several Redpoll reported along the west side of Ogden reservoir this afternoon (JL)

An injured adult male Kestrel, with photos below, was looked after overnight with a view to releasing it, hopefully, this morning. (NG)
Update from Nigel today (11th) - the bird was unable to fly so it's now at Greenmount Bird Hospital in Bury. Let's hope the bird recovers so it can be released back into the wild.
