A single whitethroat was in the garden yesterday. Not sure if it was a lingering resident or a migrant.
A buzzard flew over at lunch today, with 60+ house martins accompanying (but not harassing) it.

We seem to be getting plenty House Martins moving through but its a shame we have a declining breeding population in Calderdale!
