Bradshaw and The Raggalds

First thing - I wasn't the only one after a September Cuckoo ! - but nowhere to be found at that time but Dave B re-located one this afternoon.

Nearby I checked down the Bradshaw hillside from Roper Lane and along with Graham H and the help of  scope we located 2 male Common Redstarts on a stone wall and a female just further down a gully. Also a Common Buzzard flypast didn't hang around being mobbed by corvids.

Nice find there Dave, I went in my dinner time and saw the female fly catching but very distant and out of camera range. Don,t know how you found those.
The females tail shone red like a lantern when it was darting for flies.
