Red Kite at Soil Hill

Got a nice surprise after an uneventful day up at Soil Hill
when a Red Kite went flying past, couldn't get a good shot of
it though, which was a shame. Plenty of birdsong down at
Cromwell Bottom but not a lot showing.

Nice one Dave, a good bird to get going through the Causeway foot col, thanks for the text.

Well spotted Dave.

Seem to have been a few red kites heading through Calderdale recently.

Good record shots Dave. We've only seen underside pics up to now I think. I've yet to record my first Calderdale Red Kite, but I can feel it coming on !
