All from David Crawshaw - any takers? Lower 2 are of the same bird

1st summer Whitethroat & female Pied Flycatcher

Top bird I'd say Whitethroat but the flycatcher is a real conundrum, white on outer tail feathers extending round the tip should suggest semi collard but the amount of white in the wing and buff rump would suggest pied or collard. Primary covert mark seems to extend close to wing edge which leans towards Collard. So I'm going for hybrid Collard x semi Collard.

with no one else offering ideas can we have the correct answer?

The first is a Whitethroat with aberrant features - been ringed/retrapped at this site 3 times - a glutten for punishment.
The Flycatcher is a tricky one and the ringers are not 100% sure either!! David is suggesting a possible hybrid Pied/Collared. The biometrics are no help as both species are almost identical measurements etc. A male might have been easier? maybe!
