Stonechats on the up.
Had 5 stonechats((2 adult and 3 juvs) today near Mankinholes , 5( 1 ad 4 juvs) at Cold edge,and 4(2 ad 2 juvs) at withens Clough car park yesterday,looks like they have survived the hostile weather.Also a singing Chiff chaff today at mankinholes in full voice.any one else seen stonchats recently,??

No its the same as it ever was....
Was the Chiff Chaff in the churchyard Andy? I saw one there on Monday.
Wish I could get out to check at the moment Andy. Good job you are doing well at picking up some good birds recently especially the Vis Nuthatch
The chiffchaff was sining from the garden with the long water trough outside..just on from the graveyard
