BTO Atlas

4th - 2 hr survey covering Halifax Town centre area today
23 species including highlights below
1 Dipper in the Hebble Brook under north Bridge
5 adult Grey Wagtails in and around Dean Clough/Mulcture House
52 Mallard - Peoples Park
362 Feral Pigeons!

A great count of Ferals Dave - I bet those took up almost all your time :-)
I did the two squares around Elland town centre today but there was nowhere near the number of Ferals that you had. 6 Swifts and 4 Grey Wags by Elland Bridge were the highlights for me in the town, although the first tetrad took in part of the River Calder by the North Loop at Cromwell Bottom so Blackcaps, Chiff Chaffs, Goosanders and a small family group of Willow Warblers were included - and only 10 Mallards between the two squares.

Now if you need the locations for the FP's try the bus station, Piece Hall and Peoples Park!!!
Grey Wag's seem to be doing very well.
