1 Woodchat Shrike,4 Meditaranean Gull,2 Little Egrets and a Red Breasted merganser if this is July roll on October.Could we be lucky enough to get Two Barred Crossbill or even another Yellow Browed warbler.We must surely be due a Black necked Grebe or a Wryneck,good luck and get out there.

Time to resurect (sp?) the "next new bird for Calderdale" competition?
Certainly is and don't forget there is the prestigous golden balls award too, can we get more of the mini balls that you proudly dangle round your neck Nick.
I have recently got some new, slightly smaller but much shinier ones, anyone who wants some let me know but please remember these coveted items are only available to current or previous holders of the GB trophy!
I Have the Golden ones on my shelf,and have polished them nightly,I need all the luck I can muster.As Bri says the only luck I get is BAD.
Put your money on 2-barred crossbill (I'll have a £1 on that Nick) they're on their way.
