Luddenden Dean
Cuckoo in the dean this morning from a distance! Not a sign of Pied Flycatcher or Redstart at the usual spots. 1 Chiff-chaff 1 Blackcap 1 Little Owl 1 Common Buzzard high drifting south towards the Calder Valley (2 inner primaries missing on left wing)
Copies are available at £6.00 each from the GO local store at Woodlesford, Pellon price . Hopefully they will also be available at the Fox and Goose Hebden Bridge ,

Getting some belting photos lately Dave, Cuckoos are,nt the easiest to get. The Fly Flatts long distance swimming Roe Deer was unbelievable.
The buzzard with the missing primaries on its left wing has just flown low over Jumble Hole heading west
