That's a good one Pete. They are getting harder and harder to find nowadays.
Thanks for the prompt with the Twite sighting Pete. I spent the morning up there in light drizzle - eventually came across 3 Twite after a tip-off from a Rochdale birder as just about to give it up. They were together with 2 Reed Bunts in and around the wet boggy compound at the back of the pub. It can be a good spot there for migrants at times. 2 Wheatear nearby as well.
It's a relief that there are still a few around.
Excellent find Pete. It's along while since I used to get them in the garden at Harvelin Park.
