Withens Head

Black Redstart still with Wheatears at Withens Head but elusive. It prefers the broken down wall leading from the farm / tractor and probably best scoped from the cattle grid or the small car space 50 m after the grid.

Also a nice surprise was a Greenshank calling as a fly-over from the direction of the wind farm and heading>SW.

Elsewhere a few Stonechats in the area below Cold Edge dams and 2 Little Grebes on the smaller ponds.
