Lee Mount

At last, double figures for Swifts this afternoon with 10 together feeding high above the park.
They are still in very low numbers locally this year. That is, compared with previous years round here.

A nice singing Garden Warbler across lunchtime, in the trees at the back. A first for the year up here.

Still only 4 Swifts for Fly Flatts but plenty Swallows and House Martins. Nothing in the Nolstar field but had 2 reports of car windows smashed there where yours was done and 2 seperate incidents of tyres slashed whilst parked along Wainstalls road, plus another car burnt out near Nolstar. Must be a summer thing.

Always good to hear Garden Warbler Dave.
One of my (many) bogey birds.

Only had one swift, one swallow and one house Martin over this end so far.
I see the scroats are out again breaking into cars and spoiling everyone's
enjoyment whether birding or rambling.
