2 Reed Buntings by the 'Giants Tooth' and 6 Bullfinch came over high from Thornton Moor calling and dropped into the plantation
Red Grouse heard calling on the moor
1+ Goldcrest and 1 Great Tit but hardly any other small birds in the woodland
1 Dipper below the embankment
A big rock fall recently in the big quarry above Ogden Clough!

Probably the same two Ravens came out of the mist & murk at Fly Flatts in the morning Dave.
There were at least 9 Red Grouse between the wind turbines and the reservoir as well.

Yes, I noticed the rockfall after it had happened. Quite scary, imagining being there at the moment of collapse. There's an old record of a rare plant from that quarry, and I've searched for it more than once (Annual Knawell). Never found it.
