Extension of the hunting season in Italy

Plans are afoot to extend the Italian hunting season, and increase the number of huntable species. If these proposals become law, it becomes easier to make similar changes to French and Spannish hunting legislation, and of course, Maltese legislation.
Please visit the CABS website and say NO to extension of the hunting season in Italy.

Signed up !

Also of interest on Birdguides today the RSPB Director Mark Avery has handed a 200,000+ name petition saying stop the killing birds of prey to the Wildlife Minister. The largest petition organised so far by the RSPB - well done I say!

All done, hope it has some influence. I may not be the most active of birders at present, but I'd like to think there will be some birds left for my retirement!
