Interesting sightings this week

1st Oct 6.40pm, Bull Green car park, Hx
- 150-200 Pied Wagtails arriving to roost in the three small maples

2nd Oct 2pm, Canal Bank near Bradley Hall (in Calderdale)
- Chiffchaff still singing

2nd Oct 4pm, near Battyford
- newly fledged Swallows

Some interesting records there Steve.

The Pied Wag's seem to like that spot, I wonder if it's safer from the Tawny Owls in town centre areas, otherwise the Tawny's (you would think) would pick them off at random?
