Widdop Road

Juvenile Spotted Flycatcher





In the valley leading up to Clough Head from National Trust car park this morning;
5+ Spotted Flycatchers (thank's Andy)
c12 Redpoll in the clump of Alders
12 Linnets
c5 Willow Warblers
2 juv Kestrels
No sign of the Redstart but lots of Swallows and several House Martins

Shackleton
1 Swift >S
1 Curlew
1 Common Buzzard
1 (juv) Peregrine
c40 Jackdaws

No worries dave, great photo. The redstart can be very elusive but i'm pretty sure it's still in the area at least for a little while longer.
