Good do - Grey Partridge , scarce bird for me Dave.
And Pied Wags numbers up could bring something in?
And always good to get Greenfinch these days.
Worth being blown to smithereens up there??

Goldeneye still present this afternoon Dave. Well done getting out and doing the rounds, always worth it in these conditions.
Long Tailed duck for Mixy next, there,s plenty turning up inland.

Grey P is a scarce bird nowadays in Calderdale John. Pied Wags are in a very muddy field on the left on the way up to the top. A bleak place up there this aft, well pretty bleak everywhere today. Bri is right, sometimes the best birds can turn up in atrocious conditions - I was thinking an 'Auk' sp. would be a bit special on a local res'r. !

My last sightings of Grey Partridge were up there by the quarry and also on the Shibden Loop where the old mansion used to be, what is now a cow shed.
