Ogden Kirk

A walk round the kirk and the reservoir revealed over the week end a dipper just beyond the bottom bridge of the clough, a female wheatear higher up and five curlew flying over in a SW direction. A female  kestrel was also very active hunting. There was a spotted  flycatcher in the garden this morning.

Nice to get a Spotted Fly in the garden. They seem to be getting much scarcer as a local breeding bird and it's good to find a probable migrant.
