Red Kite over Claremount & Boothtown

Red Kite seen over Claremount coming from over town
toward Shibden valley harrassed by a single crow all the
way, great to see one over this way even though it was
very high up, this was about 1.30 in the afternoon.

The bird above the Kite looks like a Buzzard carrying prey to me.

Looks a bit squared off to be a Buzzard not a crow for sure...very odd

Sorry to disagree but I think it is a corvid, possibly a Carrion Crow judging by tail oh and the Kite is I think a second calendar year juvenile.

Ive checked other pics and think its a crow but not 100% as it looks like its got white on its under feathers, unless its the sun shining through them making them look lighter and deffo looks like its carrying something in the pic on here, shame its not a Buzzard or Marsh Harrier. looked again and a big black beak is showing so its a Crow.

Stick another photo up of the beak and what is it carrying...cheers
