David, what is the position now with access down the track towards the sailing club?

There is no public access now through the gate down to the boathouse. The only access allowed is at the north end down to the reservoir then across the moor. The banking is no public access although there are no signs at the north end.
I wrote to Yorkshire Water and got a permit to walk on the banking but again access is only from the north end.
I go regular and people still climb the gate and walk down the track to the boathouse and on the banking . No one will admit it but its all down to the new shooting club up there to give them more access without being near public footpaths. Last season they were shooting near the boathouse.
