Spent a couple of hours up there yesterday. Quite mild(ish) ! At times the 3 peaks were visible, always an encouraging sight.
9 Red-legged Partridge
2 Snipe
10+ Meadow Pipits
1 Blackbird by the mast.
Lots of Common and B H Gulls and a few Herring Gulls moving to roost and down the north slope fields 54 Canada Geese, 1 Moorhen, 12+ Mallard and a single Lapwing.
Earlier in the day a good move of Pink- footed Geese reported both ways across the Pennines thanks to an early warning from Littleborough (AH) for those going eastbound.

Pretty water logged everywhere now, so Jack Snipe might just pop up!
