Swales Moor
Ringby Lane - biting cold wind on the top this afternoon but some birds were not deterred by the windchill.
1 Grey Partridge
1 Snipe
15 Pied Wagtail
4 Meadow Pipits
3 Goldfinch
1 Buzzard
Masses of corvids
Tough stuff, those who brave the hilltops in this chilling wet wind! I've noticed a buzzard a couple of times over Bankhouse Wood (from the comfort of home) surprisingly late in the afternoon, after the light has started to fade.
Always good to see buzzards Steve, wherever you are. Grey Partridge - just seems to be one left up there nowadays John. Only just hanging on and Soil Hill used to be a good spot too.
