Charlestown canal
'British' Cormorant, P. c. carbo.
The rear edge of the bare yellow skin slopes forward below the gape.
(In 'Continental' Cormorant, P. c. sinensis, the rear edge drops vertically from the gape. See Helm Guide, p102.)
