Grasshopper Warbler
Heard a Grasshopper Warbler reeling in Baitings Gate Pasture (above Baitings Reservoir) on the climb up to Manshead End.
Also saw Linnet, Red Poll, Reed Bunting, Willow Warbler, Meadowpipit, Curlew and Lapwing in Great Manshead Hill area.
Oystercatcher and Mistle Thrush between Ryburn and Baitings reservoirs.
Nice one with the Grasshopper W. They seem to favour those upland areas in Calderdale especially where the juncus grows. Just need a day without the wind blowing to be able to hear them !
