Thanks for that, Matt,One of our volunteers rang up very excitedly at 11.45am today to say he had just seen 4 flocks of about 100 birds. Hugh
There's an interesting thread on Bird Forum today about the sudden movement of geese over the country.Sorry I didn't go out on the terrace at work half an hour earlier than I did - I may have seen them then over Mytholmroyd?!
When I picked them up they looked as if they may have come from the Midgley/ Thornton Moor direction. As they were so high up (and noisy!) you could well have seen them in Mytholmroyd.
