Swift
Yesterdays Swift at Pellon, returned to nest by DJS lets hope it gets away OK.
I returned a chick to a nest under the eaves of the old Primary School at Pellon some years ago. Are they still falling out of there ? The one I was privileged to help was a naked chick but very active. It scuttled around in a box using its naked wings as front legs. Very weird - almost reptilian. I saw a dead chick that had fallen out of the same nest another year.
