RINGSTONE
Four Drake Common Scoter in bad weather this morning
A very good find today, strange how these sea ducks often turn up inland in June and July in our area and usually males. They were still there at 7.15 this evening but guess they will be on their way come morning. Also several Swallows in the sheltered area near the cottage and along the embankment along with 2 Sand Martins.

I saw them yesterday afternoon in poor weather conditions. Presumably these would be non-breeding males.
