Fly Flats
No sign of the Ringed Plover this morning 4 Dunlin 5 Common Sandpipers 4 Redshank 2 L B B G's 1 B H Gull Again - no Twite
We often seem to get waders such as redshank and dunlin in late May and early June, do local birders reckon these are breeders or migrants heading further north? I think you can seperate the local Dunlin from the northern subsp. with practise but not sure I could do it!

I saw two twite in the feeding area this morning. M+F. The F had colour rings (Left leg white - Right leg red)
I think I'm right in saying that red is from Cant Clough in the Burnley area but I'm sure Sean G can confirm.
